A video demo explains it all:

Ajax! I love it! this is great, unless you add it, someone could make a plugin to show all the people that have voted..

That's a neat idea, it could be "2 (who?)". And the "who?" could be a link to an ajax dialog that might look like the one that pops up on facebook when you want to see who liked a status.

It is a good idea, I did think about it but wasn't sure about how to implement it.

The idea Arturo had is great, and gave me an idea.

If the vote count become the link, and when clicked a small "popover" as Apple calls it would appear under the votes displaying who has voted.

Of course I'd have to write the javascript for it, and it it starts taking too long I will go with Arturo's idea of Facebooks "People who liked this" popup.

This is the very reason I post even the littlest of new features here, feedback makes for great improvements.

I like the popover idea, it's like a js toolip, if it's animated and well styled it will look awesome :)

Maybe it could mix the two ideas (again like facebook) and do something like:

"[random user], [random user] and [link to dialog]5 more[/link] voted for this ticked"

This might help:

Done. The blue border on the "popover" has been removed.

A few of those tooltip plugins look good, and have given me some ideas for improving the "popover" in later versions.

How about removing the "+" link if the user has already voted? ;)

Also I like how those other popovers look like a speech bubble, I mean they have that little arrow head thingy, if you could do that, it would be cool.

Removing the "+" link does make sense, and the arrow thing is something I want to do, just want to find a simple and clean way to do it, without an image of course.

Edit: Well, this changes everything... cssarrowplease.com

Edit 2: And here it is:

How about showing the popover on hover instead on click.

Now that I think about it, if you list all the people who voted in the popover it could get really, really long. In a dialog you could have scrollbars so the length doesn't matter.
