How can I change Traq title to 'Project Tracker' from 'Traq'

Post by shazbell » Sat May 10, 2014 5:52 am

I am trying to change the page header from 'Traq' to 'Project Tracker'. Following is the line from default.phtml, which I believe is the html page that renders the home page, project home page..

<h1><?php echo (isset($project)) ? HTML::link($project->name, $project->slug) : HTML::link(settings('title'), null); ?></h1>

I am not sure about the location of the settings file to change the 'title'. Anyone have any ideas?
Also, I see strings such as  HTML::link, View::render... any pointers as to how the links, pages are rendered using these functions? I am interested in knowing the files and/or functions that are invoked as a result of this command.

Regards,
Shazia

The title can be changed from the AdminCP -> Settings page.

The "HTML::link()" method is a helper to quickly create links, for example:

Code: Select all

<?php

echo HTML::link('Delete', '/tickets/1/delete', array(
  'data-confirm' => "Are you sure you want to delete this ticket?",
  'class' => 'btn btn-danger'
));

// Will output:
// <a href="/tickets/1/delete" data-confirm="Are you sure you want to delete this ticket?" class="btn btn-danger">Delete</a>
The "View::render()" method is used to render views/templates into the current view/template. You pass the path (within the "views" directory) of the view and an array of variables accessible only to that view.

Code: Select all

<?php View::render('tickets/show', array('ticket' => Ticket::find(1)); ?>
