The theme

Post by Jack » Sat Nov 23, 2013 12:12 am

I like the 3.x theme a lot, it's clean and simple, but some things don't quite fit in too well.

What kind of changes can be made to the theme to make it better and more usable?

One thing is for sure, the colour scheme will remain the same-ish, by that, the blue colouring.

The JavaScript libraries, such as the tooltip, overlay and popover, will either be rewritten or use another library.

I like the 100% width, so I suggest to let (for example) users to set it from adminCP->settings.

Just to try to parteciapte actively to the development (I'm a PHP/CSS/JScript developer too):

I've cloned the default theme naming it "blueours" that differs by the original only for one line at the end of default.css file.

This modify the layout settings changing the width to 100%. I've attached the "brand new" theme to my post. :)

I've started working on the theme for Traq 4.0.

It's still blue. It's wider. It's responsive. It uses a customised Bootstrap.

And here is a teaser:

Note: Screenshots are from a retina display, the theme isn't actually that huge.

The project listing page has barely changed since Traq v0.1, it's about time for a change, don't you think? Well I do too.

This is currently a WIP, a few things will change before it's completed, but here is the current iteration:

Figured it was time to show off some more of the theme.

Looking good Paul, but deleting one of the items screwes up the layout, might want to work on that ;)
