#863 CKeditor with Trac PHP

Posted by cornbread on 08 October 2012 - 12:48 PM

Hi,
After spending several days of frustration with trying to get my system configured for Trac, I've given up. It's one error or dependancy after the next.

Does Trac PHP offer true rich text editing (as opposed to the standard Wiki style code)? This is a must have as end users need a familiar interface.

Btw - I tried to access your demo, but there is a MySQL error that prevents it from loading.

#29 What should I know to write code for Traq?

Posted by traqqer on 12 August 2009 - 05:28 PM

Hi,
I want to contribute to Traq if possible because I cannot take the effort of learning Python for one app - although the app is worth it ;)
So what would I need to learn -any of the new changes in PHP 5.2.x like SPL etc are required ?
I had a quick look at the source, but I think I need to take some time to study it.

#23 No permissions

Posted by Mythos on 12 July 2009 - 09:01 AM

Hey Jack,

I don't have permissions to see the news :(

Can you "fix" that or did you want that?

Mythos

#418 Serious flaw? Or deliberate choice?

Posted by adegans on 30 April 2011 - 12:18 AM

I found traq a bit simple. But suitable for my needs.
Yesterday i discovered by chance that when i'm not logged in and i look into a ticket i can delete actions and updates to said tickets.

When i'm NOT logged in. This is a potential thread to any reliable bug tracking and makes traq unreliable and useless at once.

Is this a known issue? Deliberate choice? Or hmm... :dodgy:

#120 Commits forum

Posted by arturo182 on 09 April 2010 - 10:25 AM

It's a cool idea to have a forum with the newest commits, I don't have to "svn up" all the time, but there's a problem with threads in the forum, I can't open them, when I'm logged out I can read the posts but when I'm logged in I get "You do not have permission to access this page." message.

#988 Wiki formatting

Posted by davidemo89 on 05 January 2013 - 09:36 AM

Hi,

thank you a lot for deeveloping this tool, it really helped us =)

Now I have a question. When I edit something, like the Project Description.

Formatting like:

*Bold*

or

* Bulled
* List
* Should
* be
* here

are not working on the preview. I have to activate something else?

Before testing the wiki I have deleted a plug-in... I don't know if it was this.
If this is the problem can you please tell me how to reinsatll the plug-in was installef from default?

Thank you for helping me and sorry for my bad english.

Good work =)

#531 SVN probs

Posted by hyperclock on 22 November 2011 - 09:41 AM

Hi, I just setup a debian server about 3 days ago. When I goto http://projects.dynaliant.com/svn
i can see the repo.

When I do this using traq, I get a blank page. I have read through the forums and treied what was written. I also have a repo setup outside of my server, but that doesn't work as well.

I've spent about 8 hours trying to get svn to work, this is (was) the main reason for me to install traq.

I'm using 2.3

#413 Some questions

Posted by adegans on 27 April 2011 - 09:16 PM

Hello i've set up 2.2 today and intent to use it for a popular wordpress plugins development. Seems to work fine so far but i couldn't really find an answer. So here goes;

1. What are ticket templates. How do i use them? Why would i use them?

2. Can i turn off the wiki entirely? I don't intent to use it as it seems way way way too limited/raw. Plus it doesn't fit the purpose of my traq setup i think.

#405 installation problem with traq 2.2. Missing resources

Posted by wraith on 21 April 2011 - 04:37 AM

So I have just finished my second installation of Traq 2.2. I figured I would try it a second time to attempt to resolve errors.

the installation goes fine, no errors and says it has completed properly. I can navigate to the adminCP login and login using my administrator account no problems.

I can then move around create users etc. So far so good. However, when I try and go to some pages I am getting errors.

Examples:

When I navigate to the index page (new browser, fresh session) and click the login link I get:
/user/login was not found on this server

In my browser where I was logged in to the adminCP if I attempt to logout:
/user/logout was not found on this server.

In my browser where I was logged in to the adminCP if I attempt to view UserCP:
/user/usercp was not found on this server.

I thought perhaps there had been a permissions issue during the install which is why I tried a second install... This time before running the install script I set permissions +rw for all files and dirs for all users 777 and 666 respectively.

When I go look in the file system apache is correct and these resources simply do not exist.

Is there some install step I am missing? Or is the install for 2.2 simply broken and I need to manually copy some resources?

#1436 Multiple Database Types

Posted by Jack on 24 March 2015 - 11:55 AM

First a little story about the framework Traq uses: Avalon.

Long story short: Avalon was created for Traq 3.0, Radium was a fork of Avalon for Traq 4.0, but has been merged back into Avalon.

Avalon 2.0 uses Doctrine for database related stuff, and Doctrine supports different database drivers, and the plan is to allow Traq to support different types.

Traq will always support MariaDB/MySQL while I also plan to have PostgreSQL support in 4.0.0.

#1424 Traq v3.5.2 released

Posted by Jack on 01 November 2014 - 04:57 PM

Any idea when a very, very early installable 4.0 (git) version is available?

Hopefully soon. I've decided rebuild the "ORM" on top of the Doctrine DBAL package which will speed things up and add support for many more databases.

Once I update the migration files and create an installer around them, fresh 4.0 installations will be possible. The 3.x to 4.0 migration stuff will come later.

#1339 Export tickets list to excel

Posted by Jack on 25 June 2014 - 12:04 AM

To have filters applied when using the API simply add the filter to the end of the URL like so: http://bugs.traq.io/...milestone=3.5.1

As for exporting to Excel, it's not currently possible, however exporting tickets to various formats will be available in the future. Possibly in v4.1 or v4.2.
