Hello,

We have setup traq3.5 in our intranet.

Email addresses are put everywhere there is scope.

But users are NOT getting notified by email.

By the way, we have our own email server hosted in our own LAN.

Please help.

Try uses PHP's "mail()" function to send mail.

Try the following to see if it works:

<?php
$your_email = "[email protected]";

var_dump(mail(
  $your_email, // To
  "Testing",   // Subject
  "Testing PHP mail()", // Message
  "From: {$your_email}" // From header
));

Jack, do you mean to test php's mail function? Anyway, it is giving result "bool(false)".

However, I need the mailing solution from within Traq.

Thanks

If the "mail()" function from the test code is returning false then there appears to be an issue with PHP's configuration with sending mail, and because Traq uses the mail function, it also will not work.

How is your PHP configured for email?

Does the server have Postfix, Exim, Sendmail, or another mail transfer agent installed?

You mean the Traq server has to act as mail server too. No...we have our organization's mail server hosted in the same network. I am trying to send mail through that mail server.

Thank you
